All about the Safety Kids Club
The Safety Kids Club will help you teach
your children personal safety awareness.
Safety Kids Club philosophy:

The Safety Kids Club came about for the sole purpose of educating and informing parents and children all about personal safety. Children will be eager to learn any topic if you make it fun. This is why the Safety Kids Club activity books have cartoons and puzzles. As your children work with the materials; discuss their answers, praise them, laugh with them, and hug them. If they associate safety books with pleasant attention from parents, they'll want to pick them up often and review them on their own.

Though the format is friendly, the message given throughout Safety Kids Club materials is very serious. It may save your child's life.

The Safety Kids Club helps you teach your children:

  • How to avoid unsafe situations

  • How to detect danger signs

  • How to get help if necessary

  • How to get out of uncomfortable situations

  • How to stay safe
  • Children should feel safe

Children should fee safe and know how to stay safe. They must be taught safety procedures, beginning at an early age and continuing throughout their childhood. Begin by teaching your children such things as their telephone number, their full name, your full name, and how to dial 9-1-1 in an emergency.

Learning personal safety skills will help children develop self-confidence. Children with self-esteem are less vulnerable and less likely to fall victim to those who prey on children. It is imperative that parents start teaching their children basic personal safety skills at an early age.
